Lenape High School opened in 1958 on a 53-acre plot of land in Medford and, since that time, has undergone multiple renovations to accommodate the educational needs of the sprawling community of Mount Laurel. Students attend classes throughout the campus and enjoy the advantages of a large high school and smaller learning communities. The faculty and services for students focus on postsecondary success.

Recognizing that academics, athletics, culture, community service, and the arts are integral to students’ success in high school and beyond, Lenape High School offers a comprehensive curriculum and breadth of co-curricular activities.

Reflective of the Lenape Regional High School District as a whole, Lenape students excel academically. Beyond its graduation rate of 95 percent, Lenape consistently exceeds state and national averages on state assessments and college entrance exams. In the 2015/16 school year, Lenape students posted twenty perfect “800” SAT section scores and one near-perfect total score of 2380. Lenape students took 513 Advanced Placement exams, and 86.2 percent of them scored 3 or higher. Four students were recognized as National Merit scholars.
Lenape fosters and recognizes academic success, engaging and encouraging students at all levels to expand their scholastic horizons. Notably last school year, the Lenape Deborah Heart Challenge Team posted its eleventh consecutive win. Co-curricular clubs such as Science, Math, and Knowledge Bowl teams also thrive at Lenape High School. The Math Team won the 2015-16 Burlington County Team Championship for the fourth consecutive year.
Lenape’s co-curricular success extended beyond academics. The Music Department had a stand-out year as the school’s marching band won the USBA State Championship. The school’s varsity athletic teams won five Conference Championships, one South Jersey Sectional Championship, and one State Championship in Girls Basketball.
Community service broadens the horizons of students and staff beyond the school’s campus to touch the lives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. From the Lenape Senior Day of Service throughout the Mount Laurel community to cleaning up the retirement community of Holiday Village to Lenape’s Give Kids the World trip in Kissimmee, Florida, Lenape High School students are active members of the greater community.
