The North Caldwell Public School District is a Pre-K-6 district housing 676 students. The district encourages the growth and development of each student's potential within a developmentally appropriate environment. All staff members strive to foster:

* achievement of Common Core Standards at all grade levels;
* enthusiastic love of learning;
* a sense of responsibility;
* creative thinking and problem-solving skills;
* self-esteem, respect and sensitivity for others; and
* awareness of a rapidly changing and diverse world.

In addition to a rigorous curriculum, numerous programs enrich the quality of the education of the children in North Caldwell. Parents, teachers and community members’ work together to provide rich experiences through assemblies, class trips, musical productions, enrichment clusters and environmental experiences.
We realize that life-long learning is essential for all who work with students. Staff growth opportunities are encouraged and district support is provided for self-initiated conferences, seminars and Graduate level courses. A significant number of faculty continue to pursue advanced degrees and bring new skills and knowledge to the classroom.

The involvement of parents and community members is one of the most important strengths of the North Caldwell Public Schools. Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer within classrooms as they add a wealth of experience from varied careers, talents and interests. The North Caldwell Partnership for Education (NCPE) is a significant force in improving the quality of our educational environment and programs.
