Lebanon Township School District

The Lebanon Township School District is a pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade district, serving 645 students during the 2015-20156 school year. The district is guided by its Mission Statement: The mission of the Lebanon Township School District, in partnership with the community, is to provide a safe, nurturing, child centered environment that challenges each child to maximize potential. Our students will acquire skills and knowledge which will enable them to become independent, respectful, responsible citizens who strive for personal excellence and embrace learning as fundamental in order to successfully adapt and succeed in our ever changing global community. It is the expectation of the Lebanon Township School District that all pupils will achieve the New Jersey Common Core Curriculum Content Standards at all grade levels.
The Lebanon Township School District focuses on the development of the whole child. We provide a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities to promote the values of diversity, respect, achievement, cooperation and collaboration. Curriculum is aligned with the adopted Common Core Curriculum Content Standards in all curricular areas. Curriculum Mapping is used to further organize course content, objectives and assessments, and to develop differentiated and interdisciplinary units. Curriculum guides that outline curriculum topics addressed at individual grade levels have been developed and are available on the district’s website, www.lebtwpk8.org. Our staff is committed to continual refinement of teaching practice and professional learning.

Technology is an integral part of all curriculum areas and the district website provides parents and the community with important information about the district and the individual schools.
We are proud of our schools and the spirit of community in Lebanon Township. Our students become successful and productive citizens who truly make a difference in the world.
