The Freehold Borough Public Schools have aligned all district curricula to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. This includes English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and World Languages, as well as the Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Physical Education, Technology and 21st Century Life and Careers Programs. The district offers a full day Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten program. Additional programs for special education students, basic skills, and bilingual/ESL address those specialized needs.

The district is operating under the guidance of a five year Strategic Plan developed in partnership with the school community. This plan addresses Student Achievement, Facilities/Finance and School/Community Partnerships. The goal is to put forward initiatives that will allow district students to receive a thorough and efficient education that prepare them for high school and the world of college and career beyond. Our students follow a uniform standard of dress.

The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a service-oriented organization that puts the needs of the students at the forefront. The governing body, administration, faculty and staff are mutually dedicated to maintaining a system where students can thrive in a safe and secure environment.
