Red Bank Borough Public School District

We entered the 2015-16 school year with a renewed spirit inspired from The Dream Project and closed the year with a new hashtag representing our organizational mindset: #RBBisBIA - Red Bank Borough is Best In America! Our district is riding the wave of momentum into 2016-17 and building upon our recent success by focusing on our core values of Safety, Learning, and Inspiration. The Dream Project resonates with guiding ideas and inspiration for students, staff, and our community, and specifically includes a mantra, a vision statement, a mission statement, as well as operating principles and non-negotiables. The Dream Project is not words on a wall; it is an attitude, a belief, a feeling. A feeling that inspired our new logo, as well as the hashtag. #RBBisBIA is not an award or a destination for our students and staff; it is a mindset and journey. We ask that all partners in our school community bring this BIA mindset on our daily journey.

We believe that high expectations with high support will lead to high student achievement for all learners. Our mantra perfectly signifies and represents the purpose of our school district.

Dream BIG... We’ll help you get there.

Education in the Red Bank Borough Public Schools will be as much about inspiration as it will be about safety and rigor. This sentiment echoes throughout our new vision and mission statements.

Vision Statement
We believe our children should dream big.
We will inspire.
We will challenge.
They will achieve.

Mission Statement
Driven by the needs of our children, we provide a safe, nurturing and challenging learning environment for every student, every day.

The Red Bank Borough Public Schools will continue to carry on with many of the programs and opportunities that have defined us in recent years including, but not limited to, full day Pre-K, Project Lead the Way, Advancement via Individual Determination, and an emphasis on arts integration. We will continue to engage our greater community with family based events such as Harvestfest, the Family BBQ and Movie Night, an expansion of our Academic Fairs, the annual International Night and many other community based activities. We will strengthen our community and professional partnerships to support student learning such as our collaborations with Count Basie Theatre, Project Write Now, and the Monmouth Conservatory. In addition to these commitments, the 2016-17 school year will see numerous plans to target the specific needs of our students including a continued commitment to professional development in Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol, the implementation of a new Co-Teaching philosophy, the expansion of our literacy intervention program, the strengthening of our arts partnerships, and the addition of courses to our program of studies.

We confidently enter the 2016-17 school year with the knowledge that we are a thriving school district. Our recent standardized assessment test scores and student growth data document echo this sentiment – check our NJ School Performance Reports to see for yourself. Our school district is committed to providing an exemplary and high-quality educational program for students age three through eighth grade. Our primary intent is to provide an experience that balances academic rigor with a purposeful and thoughtful focus on social development in a safe and supportive environment. In Red Bank Borough Schools, all children will be safe, all children will learn, and all children will dream – and they will Dream BIG! We are on the journey to BIA!
