Our recently opened state-of-the-art automotive facility comprises high-tech diagnostic automotive labs and equipment like those found in major dealerships and repair facilities across the nation. At PCTI, more than 380 skilled and dedicated staff of professionals teach not only academics and technological skills, but also promote civic responsibility while delivering the curriculum in specialized career areas including:

PCTI's challenging academic component includes many high level courses. From Physics to Forensics, PCTI students take advantage of a rigorous academic curriculum that prepares them for acceptance at some of the nation's finest four-year colleges and universities. Honors courses are offered in English, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies and Advanced Placement courses in English, U.S. History, Calculus and Spanish. Recognizing the value of preparing our students to succeed in a global society we include Japanese, Chinese and Arabic language studies in our curriculum as well our new Green Technology Program. Gifted and Talented, Bilingual/ESL, Special Needs and Basic Skills Improvement programs address the needs of the students with special learning requirements. The campus also serves as the North Jersey Regional Center for the Hearing Impaired. To challenge students as well as aid in a successful transition to college, our ‘College Connection’ program has established partnerships with many Universities and Colleges. This program offers students valuable opportunities to earn college credits for classes they complete in high school. PCTI's numerous student activities and athletic programs also provide students with the opportunity to work together as well as test their knowledge and skills in regional, state and national competition. In short, at PCTI, students are encouraged to enjoy "a total high school experience" which challenges them to Believe...Achieve...and Succeed...at all levels.

The adult population is also serviced at PCTI. Each year, more than 1000 adults throughout the Northern New Jersey community take advantage of the educational and career development opportunities offered through PCTI's Licensed Practical Nurse Program, Apprenticeship Programs, GED Testing Center and numerous career and continuing education courses. Others take advantage of additional offerings including ESL and civics education offered at the Passaic County Learning Center located at our off site location in Paterson.

Additionally, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to attend PCTI’s Saturday Academy and Saturday STEM Academy programs introducing them to the exciting world of high school and advanced learning through specially designed programs that take place at PCTI on designated Saturdays during the Fall and Spring semesters.

There are over 3400 students enrolled at PCTI which includes high tech academic classrooms and Career and Technical (CTE) education areas incorporating cutting edge equipment and technology that meets industry needs and standards. The high school also includes a contemporary black box theater, two state-of-the-art Media Centers, state-of-the art theater size auditorium, award winning restaurant “Chez Technique”, fully functioning bank run with the help of Academy of Finance students, expansive athletic fields and an extraordinary athletic center which features an indoor competition size pool, weight room, running track and basketball court. At PCTI students benefit from working with the most professional tools, computers and software available to enrich our programs. With our participation in the exciting one-to-one initiative, students receive Dell chrome-books to expand their educational outreach, advancing their proficiency in the technological realm and beyond.
