The staff of Quinton Township School continues to be actively involved with the alignment of the curriculum to the New Jersey Department of Education Content Standards. In conjunction with teacher training, curricular revisions for alignment with the New Jersey Core Content Standards have continually occurred in all subject areas. Additionally, the administration and teaching staff have gained a solid understanding of the teacher evaluation performance rubric and the implementation of the new state mandated Educator Evaluation Support System. This system has caused us to reflect on our assessment practices and how we measure student growth. To accomplish these tasks, the teaching staff is involved in a strong program of professional development, which includes Professional Learning Communities, in-house and out-of-district opportunities, and turnkey training.

The school community is proud that Quinton Township School was selected as a School of Choice. The New Jersey Interdistrict School Choice Program provides the opportunity for non-resident students to attend Quinton School at no cost to their parents/guardians. Quinton Township participates in the School Choice Program in grades kindergarten through eight.

The Quinton School Staff, Board of Education, and the student body are proud of our success and the accomplishments and continue to seek ways to enhance our current educational program. We are also proud of the facility, which houses our educational program. This includes our 2001 school addition that consists of five classrooms, central office, nurse’s suite, and library/media center. In addition to the statistical success, Quinton Township School offers many programs beyond the core curriculum to meet individual student needs. The programs include the following:
